A local legend.
The very first blend Peter ever created when starting the Barking Dog Roasters back in 1995. An African and Indonesian blend roasted dark in the traditional “Italian” style. Like the Alpha Dog blend, we still roast and bag this coffee in honor of our history in Sonoma, as a remembrance of where we came from.
A Barking Dog and Sonoma Valley staple. We’ve been told this is “the smoothest and cleanest dark roast” around and we agree. This BDR classic dark roast is something of a local legend. In the cup you will find a smokey, caramel-ly flavor accented beautifully by it’s smooth finish and surprisingly light fruity aftertaste
