According to Fairtrade America, who presented at the International Coffee Congress on Sustainability, the export price of coffee needs to be $2.00 a pound in order for a four-person farming household to earn a living income.

You know the name of the vineyard, origin, and grape variety when you buy a bottle of wine, but most people have no idea where their coffee comes from, let alone the variety that was grown. 

The less information you know about the coffee you’re drinking, the lower the quality.

Our Cold Brew
Most companies make cold brew by buying the cheapest commodity coffee they can find, steeping it for 6-8 hours, drain it, and calling it a day.

We source and roast organic single-origin coffee specifically for our cold brew. All of our cold brews is steeped for 24 hours, and triple filtered, making it crystal clear and naturally extending its shelf life.

Coffee has always been treated as a commodity, like corn.
We don’t do commodities. Great coffee deserves great art. That’s why we showcase our delicious coffees through partnerships with the coolest emerging artists on Instagram.

Every bag is hand screen-printed with a limited edition piece of art. Once it’s sold out, we introduce a new artist.
What’s even cooler is the fact that every Superlost artist gets paid above market rates. Exposure doesn’t pay artists, money does.
