At Joy Resolve we make products to last and age gracefully with our community; driven less by cost and more by functionality, craftsmanship, experience, and style.

Our products are made responsibly and we have numerous policies designed to target ongoing improvement including the use and recycling of materials, natural and renewable resources, minimization of waste, as well as responsive design. Our wood trays are made from solid FSC certified wood that goes through a vigorous hand-finishing process. All our glassware is hand-formed by master glassblowers using the purest borosilicate glass available renowned for its superior durability, heat resistance, brightness, and clarity. A true touch of expert craftsmanship.

The Barisieur

The Barisieur is a coffee or tea brewing alarm clock that eases you into the day with the sound of bubbling water and the smell of freshly brewed coffee or loose leaf tea. It encourages a ritual to establish a routine before going to sleep. The project was brought to life by over 2,000 strangers all over the world in a 2016 crowd-funding campaign. We are forever grateful to our community. We would not be here without you.

Meet the Founders

In 2018 after managing to ship the Barisieur to the amazing Joy Resolve backers, Josh decided to go blow off some steam at a pub in East London.  He got talking to a guy called Markus and was telling him about the journey and his vision. After exchanging stories, pints of Amstel, and their love for tech & sustainable products; Josh convinced Markus to help him take Joy Resolve to the next level. Markus had plans to go traveling so couldn’t join Josh in London, but proceeded to work remotely from a caravan.  Months later Markus made the move to London and Joy Resolve grew from strength to strength. Their mission to bring tangible solutions with the environment in mind resonated louder and Joy Resolve now has a passionate team based in London, Hackney.
