Hanseatic Coffee

The history

The Hanseatic Coffee Roasters was founded in 2014 by Sven Peters. Born in Hamburg, he developed a passion for gourmet products at an early age. After running a well-known sparkling wine cellar for years and deepening his sensory knowledge, he founded a company for hotel and catering equipment and gourmet items. His father gave him special know-how due to his training as a coffee clerk, which still shapes him today. In 2020 his son Frederic, after completing his training as a hotel clerk and deepening his coffee know-how, got more and more into the company. Together with Niklas Geise, you are the face of the Hanseatic Coffee Roasters today. The operational and creative work lies with Frederic and the commercial work with Sven. Together with Niklas Geise - Head of Coffee -

HANSEATIC COFFEE - COFFEE ROASTING IN HAMBURG

We are the Hanseatic Coffee Roasters - a young Hamburg coffee roasting company with a focus on specialty coffee. We look for the best coffees on the best farms in the world and process them with a lot of love and great skill in our roastery in Hamburg Bahrenfeld. With us, you get high-quality espressos and filter coffees, as well as a fine selection of coffee accessories. Coffee is more complex than wine. That is why it is all the more important for us to know the nature and origin of our green coffee. These peculiarities continue with our individual roasting. We attach great importance to sustainability, knowledge of coffee, and gentle roasting.
