After a decade working in business administration, she returned to the countryside to join her husband on their coffee farm. Over the past 8 years, Nelcy has become a leader in her local coffee association, training and supporting female coffee growers to achieve economic independence in a male-dominated field.
Villanueva, named after Nelcy herself, is an exceptionally sweet coffee with notes of panela (unrefined cane sugar), tart fruity acidity like cherry, and nutty undertones like hazelnut.
