Description
100% Arabica Moka
Ethiopia is considered the birthplace of coffee. Only Arabica is grown here at an altitude of 1,500–2,300 m.a.s.l. (meters above sea level).
The Yirgachefe region is known for its exceptional coffees, which delight us in the cup with a very floral and intense jasmine note. Since this coffee grows wild, complete traceability is difficult. Together with our local partner, we were able to win this coffee at the ECX (Ethiopian Coffee Exchange) auction.
Some claim that a coffee from another region only has to pass through the Yirgachefe region by truck to be sold as Yirgachefe coffee!
But this coffee comes 100% from the town of „Yirgacheffe!
