Description

Meet Kibugu FCS, our latest Best of Ibis offering, a beautifully expressive coffee from the foothills of Mount Kenya.

The Kibugu Farmers' Cooperative Society represents approximately 1,050 smallholder farmers who deliver freshly harvested coffee cherries to the processing facility on the same day they're picked, helping ensure exceptional quality and careful processing.

This washed-process coffee is roasted medium-light to highlight its bright acidity and complex, slightly spiced character. The cup opens with comforting notes of carrot cake, complemented by zesty lemon acidity and a creamy mouthfeel reminiscent of cream cheese frosting. A lingering almond finish brings a smooth, nutty sweetness that ties everything together.
