MEDIUM DARK ROAST

The brightest and most fruit-forward of the three blends, Five Islands offers a vibrant profile reminiscent of the Café Blend, but with a greater emphasis on deep red fruits.
Five Islands is ideal for coffee drinkers who enjoy a brighter finish without sacrificing sweetness or body. Its pronounced fruit character is balanced by a smooth, rounded sweetness, a well-integrated cup with a lingering cherry-chocolate finish.

When brewed as a black coffee, a slight bright finish, syrup mouthfeel.

As a milk-based espresso, expect notes of cranberry, balanced by caramel sweetness and cherry chocolate.
A velvety body brings depth and richness to the cup, complemented by notes of dulce de leche and brown sugar.

Our Five Islands Blend is currently made up of:

Columbia Excelso, Brazil Cerrado, Honduras HG100% Premium Arabica Coffee.

Suggested brew method

We recommend these recipes to any of our 'espresso' roasts.

22g espresso in, 48 ml out, contact time 32 to 35 secs.

Home Brew:

18g espresso in, 25 to 30 ml out, contact time 25 to 32 secs.

Experiment and alter to your preferred taste and equipment.
