We think: probably the most beautiful electric kettle a coffee or tea kitchen has ever seen! The matt black stainless steel kettle holds 0.9l of water, which is heated up quickly thanks to the powerful 1200W heating element, whereby the desired temperature can be selected between 57-100°C. Once the final temperature has been reached, it can be kept stable for up to 60 minutes using the hold function, thanks to the precise PID control. After the water has boiled, the LCD display serves as a handy stopwatch for controlled brewing. Two unique details are the swan-neck spout and a counterweight in the handle of the jug, with which the flow rate and amount of water can be ideally determined. The precise and slow flow of water may feel unfamiliar at first and is certainly not the right thing to brew an instant noodle soup in a hurry, but definitely the best for the most precise pouring of pour-overs and insanely helpful for brewing the coffee grounds evenly and without cratering. A lovely feature: There's a slightly hidden switch to choose between Celsius and Fahrenheit. If you wiggle this little button, your kettle turns into a mini arcade machine, and you open the game Wormy (which is VERY reminiscent of a famous game by a Finnish mobile phone manufacturer...). The current world record is 28 seconds and is held by a Brit, but we're working hard here in the office to bring the pot to Bremen.
