Espresso Rossini is a dark-roasted espresso with a full body, dense crema, and complex flavor profile. The blend of Robusta from Asia and Arabicas from South America and East Africa combines notes of dark chocolate, caramel, berries, and floral nuances. A layered espresso for anyone who loves depth and character. It’s suitable for moka pots and espresso brewing methods, as well as for making café crème in fully automatic machines.

Espresso Rossini is just as enjoyable on its own as it is with milk in a cappuccino.

Description

Espresso Rossini – Expressive. Layered. Captivating.

Espresso Rossini is a spirited composition for anyone seeking an espresso with character, complexity, and a clear expression. Like the composer it’s named after, this dark-roasted blend combines virtuosity and richness—a coffee that jolts you awake, seduces the senses, and stays with you.

The beans come from three continents and have been blended to bring together their individual strengths in a profound, harmonious whole:

  • 20% Robusta from Asia
This component adds strength, spice, and a pronounced crema to the blend. Notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and a hint of tobacco give the espresso depth and body. Its higher caffeine content makes for a bold, lasting impression—the perfect foundation for an expressive roast.

  • 40% Arabica from South America
The South American component brings balance, structure, and a velvety texture to the cup. Flavors of caramel, dates, and cocoa give Rossini a grounded taste without weighing it down. A subtle fruity sweetness rounds things out and gives the espresso a warm, approachable base.

  • 40% Arabica from East Africa
The East African component brings a lively aroma: floral notes, citrusy freshness, and juicy flavors of berries and stone fruit. Combined with the dark roast, it develops complex notes of dark fruit, lavender honey, and a hint of black tea—elegant and lingering on the finish.

Roast & Flavor Profile

The dark roast brings out the chocolate and caramel notes while adding a pleasantly smoky depth. In the cup, Espresso Rossini is full-bodied and clear, with flavors of roasted cocoa, sweet cedar, dark berries, and nutmeg coming together in a rounded, layered experience. The acidity is present but restrained—it adds energy without dominating.

Brewing Recommendations

Whether served as an espresso or ristretto, or used as the base for milk drinks, Rossini excels in every preparation. Its profile comes through with depth and clarity, especially in an espresso machine or fully automatic machine. Ideal for coffee drinkers who want to pair aromatic variety with bold expression.
