Finca San Sebastián in Guatemala is both for us.

Back when specialty coffee was still in its early days, a trip to Guatemala with Wolfgang Dehner, Stefan Sprengel, and Álvaro Delgado led us to Finca San Sebastián—a farm whose exceptional location on the volcanic slopes of Antigua and careful stewardship continue to impress us to this day.

Fertile soils, shade trees, thoughtful water treatment, and a deep understanding of coffee cultivation: even then, they were practicing what we now consider exemplary, responsible agriculture.

For our 20th anniversary, we’re returning in our minds to this special place. With a coffee that represents our story and the conviction that has stayed with us to this day.
