Description
Do you want to do more than just drink coffee—you want to really understand it? In this one-day, hands-on workshop, you’ll dive deep into the world of coffee, from bean to cup.
Together with our two instructors, you’ll discover how origin, variety, processing, and roasting influence flavor, learn the basics of sensory evaluation, and find out what actually happens during coffee extraction.
And it’s not all theory: You’ll try things out for yourself, taste, compare, and prepare coffee using different methods. We’ll work with espresso and filter coffee, explore grind size, recipes, water, and extraction, and show you how to recognize common mistakes and improve your brewing with purpose. The workshop also covers the basics of milk-based drinks and milk foam.
With a small group of no more than 8 participants and two instructors, there’s plenty of time for individual questions and hands-on practice. You’ll work at the machine yourself, grind, brew, taste, and gradually develop a better understanding of what makes great coffee.
