ETHIOPIA MARGARISSA CHELBESA

Origin and Varieties: This specialty coffee comes from the Gedeb region (Yirgacheffe) of Ethiopia. It is grown at an altitude of 2,110 meters and consists of Heirloom varieties.
Natural Process: Natural processing (drying the whole cherry) develops a full body and a dense, floral aromatic profile, marked by notes of yellow fruit, pineapple, citrus, red fruit, and milk chocolate.
Production Steps: The cherries are picked at peak ripeness by around 615 local smallholder farmers, transported in under 40 minutes to the Chelbesa washing station, and then processed under the direction of Girum Assefa and exporter SNAP Coffee to ensure a stable, consistent lot.
