Description
During the hot season, a good cold coffee, if prepared with the correct equipment and attention, is certainly a very thirst-quenching drink. With this “Cold Brew,” you can offer it to your customers, offer it to your friends and family quickly and easily.
The Cold Drip Hario Vic-02 is composed of a glass carafe in which the plastic element is applied, which will be filled with ice and covered with a diffuser that will allow the coffee to be better distributed over all the ice. At this point all that remains is to position the supplied Dripper cone, the paper filter and start extraction with hot water (92/96 °). This is a full-fledged V60!
The ice container allows it to always remain above the coffee level so that every drop that falls from the V60 first touches the ice and cools quickly.
We advise you to start using 36/40 g of lightly roasted coffee, 300 g of ice, and 300 g of water for extraction which must take place in 2/3 minutes. The recommended grinding is finer than the V60 to increase the contact time between the coffee and the water which in this case is halved in quantity compared to a normal extraction.
