After 3 years, Rivers has evolved their original Hoop Coffee Press to only feature one filter instead of three, to create the Hoop Mono. This change has not only made cleaning easier but also makes a cleaner coffee.Even with a fine grind, the ‘mono filter’ presses the coffee further than a conventional coffee press filter, leaving fewer grinds and greater taste in your cup.
In the 3-sheet filter, it was necessary to remove the screw attached to the plunger and separate all parts for washing, but the new model can be washed without disassembling.
