Caffelab HAWAII Kona
33,50 $
Hawaii Kona coffee finds on the slopes of the active volcanoes of the island, one of all the famous Kona volcano, from which the coffee takes its name, ideal soil, and climate for producing an aromatic, delicate coffee with a slight acidity.
Description
Although the cultivation of coffee began relatively recently on the island, starting from 1828, Kona Hawaii has always been considered, together with Jamaica Blue Mountain (which is the same variety), the most refined coffee in the world. The plantations from which this coffee comes are located on the island of Kona, where Captain Cook landed in the eighteenth century.
A cup of Hawaii Kona coffee truly evokes the delicacy of the tropical breeze.
For this evaluation, the coffee was extracted into espresso at 94 ° with an extraction of 25 ml in 27 seconds. The degassing of the coffee took 48 hours.
The cream is light and decidedly light hazelnut in color, while the aromas on the nose are slightly herbaceous and fruity. In one cup we found sensations of pineapple and white peach. To the taste, the coffee is decidedly not full-bodied, with a marked but not intrusive acidity and a decidedly light bitterness.
