  The organic coffee cherries in our Lungo Caffè Crema are cultivated in Ethiopia, Colombia, and Honduras.
Ethiopia is the cradle of coffee. According to legend, resourceful goatherds came across the beneficial, invigorating effects of the Arabica bean with its incomparable aromas more than a thousand years ago. The exotic aromas of the coffee cherry, therefore, find their way unadulterated into the coffee cup: a strong basic sweetness, flanked by lively fruit aromas and often present acidity, more nuanced than South American varieties and less complex than an Asian blend.

  The organic coffee cherries from Tanzania complete the blend of the “Lungo Caffè Crema”. The organic coffee beans used here grow in the Kagera region near the world-famous Lake Victoria. Characterized by the fragrance and its full aroma, the coffee stands out with its unusually sweet taste and a nice hazelnut note. These Robusta organic coffee cherries are carefully selected by hand and naturally sun-dried on straw mats. This guarantees an excellent quality for the export of the beans all over the world.
