WHIDBEY COFFEE STARTED 29 YEARS AGO...

In 1989, Dan Ollis purchased an espresso cart and spent the summer attending local fairs selling premium coffee drinks.  This entrepreneurial move propelled him into the fast growing industry of specialty coffee as he began to lay the framework of what is now Whidbey Coffee Company.

A strong commitment to quality products and customer service helped Dan grow the company into a booming business.  As of 2014, Whidbey Coffee has a thriving wholesale division and 12 retail locations throughout the North Puget Sound region.  From our convenient drive-through locations between Mukilteo and Burlington, to our beautiful cafe in Oak Harbor, we've got your coffee needs covered!

Whidbey Coffee is known for its dedication to excellence in the way we source, roast, and develop our coffees to bring you the best possible experience you could ask for. Our two very popular stands in Oak Harbor have recently been voted "Best Coffee On Whidbey Island" by our amazing customers! Every detail is thought out and expertly delivered by our team of baristas, roasters, and staff to bring you some of the best coffee in the North Puget Sound region. At any one of our locations, you will find some incredible coffees; whether you prefer your coffee whole bean, ground, or by the cup, you are sure to be satisfied by your experience!  Stop on in for one of our signature beverages, including our Famous Frozen Moka; or come by our Oak Harbor cafe to have some lunch with friends.

Whidbey Coffee headquarters are based in beautiful Mukilteo, right off the ferry line. We are dedicated to supporting our community and those who live here. This past year we matched customer donations for Oso, Wa #530slide relief and raised close to $7,000 for donation to Cascade Valley Hospital & Clinics, and held a scholarship contest for one lucky high school senior to receive a $5,000 scholarship to the community college of their choice.  We will also be opening our annual Whidbey Coffee fireworks stand the week before July 4 to raise funds that go back into our community where it is needed most. Then come celebrate Independence Week on July 3 where we’ll be brewing coffee at the “Celebrate America” event in Freeland. We love working with our community and those who live here!

Whidbey Coffee’s sister company, Victrola Coffee Roasters, has four cafes throughout Seattle--including their newest location at 3rd & Pine in downtown Seattle. Victrola Coffee also maintains an artisan roasting facility in the Capitol Hill neighborhood where they still roast their coffee. Victrola Coffee continues to set the standard for specialty coffee in the competitive Seattle coffee scene.  More growth is on the way! Whidbey Coffee has plans on opening more retail locations in the greater Puget Sound region.  In addition we are redesigning and upgrading some current locations as well as expanding our current retail and wholesale coffee sales.

We’re pleased to have you join us in this proud tradition and hope you'll work with the same pride we have, serving the finest coffees and seeing Whidbey Coffee Company continue to grow.
