  Our latest Limited Release offering is this delightful SL-14, SL-28 & SL-34 mixed varietal from Kingha estate in Western Uganda.

Kingha coffee works directly with farmer households, providing training and education to improve coffee quality and yields. As well as working with local schools to provide clothing, supplies and agricultural education programs.

Grown on a mountain ridge around the Nyakishenyi town, this coffee is part of the Kingha Estate project, with the owner of the washing station, Kingsley Griffin working with outgrowers to improve their income and quality as with so many smallholder farmers in Nyakishenyi, no other companies were adding to the value chain.

Kingha Estate is planted with all SL varietals, a Kenyan varietal sought after for its incredible juiciness, complexity and incredible clarity. To grow such a well-known varietal in Uganda, even with similar terroir, is a challenge to get those same Kenyan qualities; this coffee meets all of our expectations. Such a high-quality Ugandan is something that’s previously been difficult to source, but with the Kingha Collective, we couldn’t be happier to start the year with such an exciting origin, story and varietal!
