Uganda is the seventh largest producer of coffee in the world. Most coffee in Uganda is grown on small local farms. In traditional households, women are responsible for growing and growing coffee, an occupation that is often the only source of income for the family.

Bugitsu is a region in eastern Uganda where coffee is grown at moderate altitudes of 1300-2000 meters on the slopes of Mount Elgon. The result is a hard grain, suitable for a more intense frying. Bugisu coffee is fuller than other coffees in East Africa, and with a lower acidity. Bugisu is a coffee difficult to compare with others, described as having rustic fruit notes and a strong complex aroma.

Uganda Bugisu coffee is a perfect coffee for an extraordinary single origin espresso.
