HI I'M MICHAEL RIADY
Welcome to Tentera. I was born in Jakarta and I live between Los Angeles and Bali, Indonesia. My great grandfather was an immigrant during World War One. Since the beginning, we fell in love with the tropical island life, diversity, culture and hospitable people of Indonesia that we have called home for five generations since 1918. My passion in life is coffee and surfing and so thirteen years later, I said goodbye to my 9 to 5 job and went to pursue my dreams of building a brand around something that is closest to my heart and lifestyle. Tentera is all about getting together in one common place, experiencing the best Indo coffee before jumping into the water to catch the next left or right hander and sharing your story of the day. I hope your love for our coffee shall grow overtime as I did. Thank you for your support because it allows us to give back 1% of sales to the kids in need of surfboards and trunks.
