We are a family business based in the historic spa town of Harrogate, England – devoted to the craft of outstanding tea and coffee. We do things properly, without shortcuts, showing care and respect to everyone along the way – from the people who grow it to the people who drink it. Since 1886, when our founder Charles Taylor sold his first pack of tea, that’s been right at the heart of our company, and we think it shows.

Our coffee experts have decades of experience seeking out the very best beans from the world’s best-growing regions. It’s all about doing things properly – from the way it’s grown to the flavor in your cup.
OUR STANDARDS AREN’T STANDARD
Our tea experts have decades of experience in seeking out the best teas from the top gardens in the world, and skillfully blending flavor-packed fruits and herbs to create our infusions. And our coffee team includes several ‘Q Graders’ – an internationally recognized tasting accreditation held by only 40 people in the country. And we’re extremely proud to say that the way we make our tea and coffee has earned us the Royal Warrant, as an official supplier to the Prince of Wales.
THINKING LONG TERM
Taylors is built on long-term relationships, often developed over decades. Our buyers regularly travel to visit the farms and co-operatives that supply our tea and coffee – because we want the way we do business to have a positive effect on the world. We’re proud to be founding members of the Ethical Tea Partnership, and we have formed strong partnerships with independent certification schemes such as the Rainforest Alliance.
