Sunset Cliffs is our boldest and most popular roast. Inspired by other dark roasts from the Indonesian region, our Papua New Guinea roast is often compared to Sumatra or French Roast. This smooth, dark roast will give you tasting notes of chocolate, caramel, and spice.
The Sigri Estate, where this coffee is grown, was established in the 1950s and is recognized for producing gourmet coffee equal to the World’s finest for over 20 years. All plantings are exclusively Arabica, introduced to Papua New Guinea from Jamaica Blue Mountain Typica rootstock. All growing and processing practices follow a system that has been thoroughly proven over many years and insists on the highest standards and quality at every stage.
We chose to name it after Sunset Cliffs, one of the most scenic views in San Diego. It is a popular spot for hiking, surfing, and relaxing due to its natural beauty. Its bold cliffs match the intensity of this dark-roasted coffee.
