Welcome to one of the first offerings from Green Spring Coffee – a new venture from Ethiopian coffee legends Ture Waji (Sookoo Coffee) and Mike Mama (Addis Exporters)!  They’ve teamed up in coveted Uraga, Guji to produce amazing coffees. They source from smallholder farmers and process in small, fully traceable lots We’re thrilled that our importing partners at Osito are working with Green Spring for this excellent Sonkolle Kallto and the promise of many delicious things to come.

Sonkolle Kallato is a delicious dichotomy: vibrant yet tempered, tea-like yet juicy. With fragrances of fresh strawberries & chocolate that sweep the nose, this coffee has our team nostalgic for picking strawberries in warmer seasons. Brewed, this coffee blooms with sweet florality reminiscent of candied violets. While sweet & tea-like, the cup remains juicy with undertones of vibrant pink grapefruit. This sweet and floral natural Ethiopian coffee is perfect for starting our beautiful DC winter mornings off right in the new year.
