Sumatra – von Arko

This delicious coffee comes from the highlands of Sumatra. The spicy note accompanied by floral, slightly sweet taste components is typical for coffees from Indonesia. On the mountain slopes of the Gayo Mountains, the largest Arabica cultivation area in Southeast Asia, the coffee plants that produce our single-origin Arko coffee grow here at altitudes of 1200 – 1600 meters. Fertile volcanic soil in the middle of the tropical climate characterizes the wonderfully earthy taste with nuances of tobacco and the spicy fullness. 

Nevertheless, the Sumatra coffee has a lovely, subtle fruitiness and is therefore also perfect for sensitive connoisseurs. The 100% single-origin roasted coffee is sealed in a tubular bag including an aroma valve and has a pretty decorative label in the original design. The motif – appropriate to the exotic growing region – awakens a longing for distant lands. Of course, the delicious beans are made without palm fat, are vegan and packaged without the addition of flavors. If you like, you can add a pinch of cinnamon or a hint of vanilla sugar to the arko specialty, ideally brewed with water at least 95 degrees Celsius or served as a cold brew specialty.
