Introducing our first offering from Rwanda, this coffee comes from the Kanzu washing station in the Nyamasheke district of Rwanda’s Western province. The lush hills here are covered with cassava, sweet potato, and beans among other crops besides coffee. The local coffee industry has received a lot of attention and aid from abroad over the years which in turn has enabled coffee growers and processors to get better at what they do and in turn fetch better prices for themselves.

This boost into the specialty coffee market is certainly apparent in this coffee as well. This coffee offers a rich sweetness that suggests flavors like date, agave, and caramel dipped green apples. A focused acidity further shines with the pleasing sweetness of cherry cola. All in all this coffee offers a unique experience from others we have offered before, something that’s cemented by a curious flashy Andes chocolate finish as the coffee cools down.
