Cultivation under full shade protects the coffee trees from wind, rain and sun. Agroforestry reduces soil erosion and preserves soil fertility, for a more sustainable, responsible and respectful practice . The plantations are located at approximately 1,500 meters above sea level, in a preserved environment in the heart of sumptuous and wild landscapes. The climate is cooler there than in the plains, and the abundant rains promote the growth of coffee plants. These exceptional conditions allow local producers to cultivate old botanical varieties, renowned for their quality, and to perpetuate an exceptional vintage over the generations.
