Description

Peru is a very small coffee producer. Organic coffee is grown on most plantations. The Arabica subspecies Bourbon, Caturra, and Typica are mainly cultivated. Coffee is grown almost exclusively on small plantations in the forest (approx. 90-98%). Connoisseurs love Peruvian beans because they are varied, wholesome, and aromatic. Partly velvety-chocolaty, partly very spicy, and with rather heavy, herbaceous-earthy notes. Lovers of strong coffee will get their money’s worth here.

This coffee comes from the Urubamba growing region. It corresponds to the highest quality “Grade 1”. This is a washed coffee.

Flavor Profile:

A coffee with medium acidity and light nut and chocolate undertones. A little sweet in the finish – overall rather strong.

Roast recommendation:

City Roast

This green coffee is very suitable for all roasting devices!
