Description
Finca Guadajey is the name of Guadalupe Herrera’s farm and comes from a combination of family member names. Guadalupe is making improvements to Guadajey by building additional drying beds used in the processing of her coffee and by increasing access to her property by improving road conditions.
This lot is a combination of red and yellow casual varietals. The result is a remarkably sweet and balanced coffee. We find that @goldmountains notes are spot on – peach, honey, citrus. It is no wonder this micro-lot is known as Guadalupe and the Giant Peach.
We found this coffee at a medium roast to be sweet, balanced, and very approachable. Our first offering from Gold Mountain this season, but not the last!
