MYANMAR COFFEE BEANS
Powerful coffee, nicely tangy, with pleasant notes of red fruits and praline. It will go perfectly with dairy and caramelized desserts.
In partnership with the UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime), Malongo is running a program to replace poppy cultivation with coffee for small producers in the Shan territory.
This project makes it possible to fight against deforestation, preserve the environment and increase the income of producers, until they become financially independent.
By taking part in this action, the Shan and Pa-O ethnic groups contribute to the pacification of the territory. Malongo and his foundation will participate in the installation of a green coffee processing plant and the training of producers in good practices (high yields, ecological methods, wet processing).
