Description

MEXICAN GROUND COFFEE

Fruity, subtle and all in roundness, this cru goes deliciously with creams and very sweet desserts.

These coffee trees grew spontaneously under the Mexican rainforest. The cooperative, which brings together 53 villages, produces high quality coffee, harvested mainly by hand, according to very strict specifications.

It was during a trip to Mexico in 1992, in the isthmus of Tehuantepec (with the idea of meeting the Zapotec, Mixes and Chontales communities), that Jean-Pierre Blanc met Father Francisco Van der Hoff, co-founder of the Max-Havelaar label, and discovered his theories.
