Description
Pink Bourbon, is a variety of coffee that turns a pinkish-orange hue when ripe. It offers a sweeter and fruitier flavor profile than typical Red Bourbon, which tends to be a bit more vegetal in its sweetness. This lot was produced by Faiber Bolaños Lopez on his small 1.5 hectare farm, La Esperanza, in the San Augustin, Huila region of Colombia. In addition to running his own farm, where he grows pink bourbon, gesha, and caturra varieties, he also manages a 2.5 hectare farm for his mother and works as a buying liaison for the Los Naranjos coffee Association.
