Maria inherited the farm from her parents. She is a second-generation coffee farmer and a survivor of the armed conflict in Colombia. 2,000 paramilitary forces tried to displace her from her farm, but she prevailed and has not stopped growing coffee ever since. She is dedicated to producing coffee following the highest quality standards.
