Description
Las Capucas is a municipality in the popular coffee growing region of Copan. This coffee is produced by the COCAFCAL (Cooperativa Cafetalera Capucas Limited) coop. The co-op was founded in 1999 by Omar Rodriguez and now supports over 700 members. Not only does the coop produce its own complete line of organic fertilizers to help support the farming needs of the members, it also offers its own school and medical/dental clinic.
