Geisha is the most beloved and revered coffee varietal in the specialty coffee community, and for good reason – its spectacular and unique flavor notes (which include Bergamot, the herb used in Earl Grey Tea!) led the original specialty coffee community to almost reject it as a coffee when it was entered into the Best in Panama Coffee Competition (it went on to win the top award).

This particular Geisha is certified Biodynamic, which means it is grown and cultivated using the highest standards of organic farming in the world.

We love its story (Gibran, the Mexican farmer who is the head educator of El Equimite and who travels to other farms teaching biodynamic and best practices to other Mexican farmers, is an incredible soul and a dear friend) and we LOVE the coffee (Geisha-specific flavor notes, intermingled with a bolder and richer body than some of the Geisha coffees from Panama and other regions and farms).
