Originating from former colonial plantations on a small peninsula in the north-west of Lake Kivu, this exceptional Arabica is made from superb varieties of coffee trees (Blue Mountain and Bourbon) grown on the edge of the lake, on hilly slopes in the rich volcanic soil.
Malongo has partnered with a local cooperative to support small producers in the region. This full-bodied, full-bodied wine offers us intense aromas, balanced by an elegant liveliness.
