BRAZIL Caracolito
$ 7.00
On the youngest branches of the plant it is possible to find only one bean in the drupes, this occurs spontaneously, in nature, in practically all species of coffee. The bean, which the English call peaberry, is rounded and is called Caracolito or ” Caffè Perla “.
Description
The Caracol is a special selection of Brazilian coffee. This lot comes from the southern area of the Minas Gerais region.
This coffee was tasted, for this evaluation, extracted in espresso at 93 °, with an extraction of 25 ml in 24 seconds. The degassing of the coffee took 48 hours.
The cream is marked hazelnut, with slight nuances. On the nose the sensations are of toast and light caramel, in line with many Brazilian coffees. To the taste, the coffee has a light but pleasant body, good acidity and a decidedly soft bitterness.
An excellent coffee for espresso and mocha.
