Jin, owner and master roaster, has over 14 years of experience in the specialty coffee industry. He and his family moved to Buckhead, GA to be near family and fulfill his dream of owning his own Café and Roastery.
In addition to his day-to-day industry and roasting experience, Jin volunteered as a Mid-Atlantic Regional Barista Competition Judge in 2010, attended the 2011 Roasters Guild Retreat, completing “Identifying Defects in Roasting” and “Defect Cupping” courses, attended a Rainforest Alliance Cupping for Quality Event, competed in the 2013 and 2019 US Cup Tasters Championship, in 2018 sourced coffee from Colombia, and most recently became a licensed Q Grader in September of 2019.
