Nicaragua Alto de Jinotega is sourced from multiple family farms organized around Cooperativa Multifunctional Family Coffee R.L. – a cooperative started in 2013 with the assistance of a local export company (J&M Family) to help farmers in Jinotega organize their resources and efforts. These farms are anywhere between 4 and 100 acres, and each producer processes their cherries with their own micro-mill.
