Mutana Burundi – Fellow Coffee
The Long Miles Coffee Project is responsible for some of our favorite coffees from Burundi and this washed Bourbon lot from Mutana is no exception. Grown by smallholder farmers along the edge of the Kibira Forest, the cherries were double-fermented then washed at the Heza Washing Station, and roasted in Helsinki, Finland. We tasted a refreshing citrus tea, hints of guava, and a silky smooth body.
