It starts and ends with curiosity.
A boyfriend + girlfriend + a golden-doodle named Moose jump into a u-haul, fuelled by naivety and enthusiasm, and all at once they’re coffee roasters, baristas, bookkeepers, managers, dishwashers, community-builders, designers, decision-makers, visionaries, mistake-makers, dreamers, leaders.
Nobody starts out great, at least we sure didn’t. curiosity for what we can be, for what’s possible— for what we can learn and create, for who we can become has been the compass to waking up each day with vigor, moving our business forward, creating a whole lot of awe-striking moments, wildly impactful relationships, and legacy. sure, we do really love coffee, but we love people a whole lot more. crafting great coffee is a hoot, but great coffee is nothing without the great souls who drink it. we stay away from mediocre coffee— mediocre anything really. we believe in extraordinary life and people. life on-purpose. the ritual of coffee is a pleasant one, isn’t it? the first sip in the morning.. the tears falling into your cup on a hard day, the spike of energy that wisps you away into your grandest dreams, the holiday cafe hopping, the brief intimate moment with a friend, the sunny afternoon palette pleasing pick-me-up pleasantry (take that alliteration, BAM).
We could have an elongated paragraph about how we create worthwhile coffee, but then that wouldn’t be about us, that would be about coffee. we aren’t coffee, we’re human beings who drink it and happen to passionately nurture it into existence.
We are interested in what takes place over a cuppa coffee. fascinated by the universal joy initiated by a liquid substance that originates from a cherry on an evergreen shrub tree in a country thousands of miles away. we marvel at the community gathered, ideas inspired, conversations sparked around coffee.
We do a lot, and I mean a heck of lot to develop a wondrous cafe lineup and roasting standard. if you want to know about that, just ask. we secretly want to know you, but now the secret is out.
Most importantly, we want to awaken you to your potential whilst awakening your senses.
