Description
Balboa Park is our signature decaf roast from Mexico. Decaf coffee hasn’t had the best reputation since its start, so we wanted to make sure we sourced a bean that proved any expectations wrong. We roast these beans medium-dark to create a great profile for all decaf coffee lovers.
Our Mexico decaf coffee is decaffeinated by the Mountain Water Process. This is a more natural process and leaves all of the flavors in the bean. This is accomplished by soaking the beans in a Green Coffee Extract that naturally strips away the caffeine until it is 99.9% caffeine-free.
This is a very similar process to Swiss Water Decaf.
Balboa Park is one of the most central areas of San Diego. As home to most of San Diego’s Museums, it is a center of Culture and Arts within the city. It is the perfect place to spend an afternoon drinking coffee.
