    We are a young coffee roastery from Wiesbaden with a great passion for really good coffee. 

    As a socially conscious company, we see it as our responsibility to share this with high quality, ethical trading, radical transparency, and genuine appreciation.

    We have our roots in the Maldaner coffee house, which was founded in 1859. Today the 1st original Viennese coffee house in Germany. The tradition we are proud of and an important part of our DNA.

    Above all, we are a modern, value and future-oriented roasting company. That questions learn, improve, and share with like-minded people. We combine tradition with modern standards and build the bridge between you and small farmers, regardless of distance, language, and culture. For us, this is an important building block for the future of coffee in order to change commercial trade in the long term and sustainably.

    For us, in addition to the high quality of the green coffee, the farmers, in particular, come first. Honesty, trust, and long-term partnership on an equal footing - instead of countless certificates that cost us and the farmer a lot.

    We strive to develop personal relationships with farmers who produce excellent coffee. Visiting them regularly on-site, learning from each other, and letting them decide on the selling price for yourself to make a real difference. For us, that means direct trade, which we are gradually expanding. For this, we also work with real specialists in export and import. Trustworthy partners who have specialized in buying and supporting coffee directly from first-class coffee farmers and cooperatives and paying fair and reasonable prices. 

    ARTISAN COFFEE ROASTING

    Coffee is a fruit with more than 800 flavors.

    The more gently we roast, the more we can get from them and even highlight them in your cup. That is why we roast fresh every Tuesday, on our artisanal drum roaster in single-variety 12.5 kg batches, with love and care.

    In order to be able to highlight what makes each coffee so special, we develop an individual roast profile for each coffee - according to the origin, the height of cultivation, harvest, variety and preparation. Depending on the roast and variety, our coffee tastes like chocolate, caramel, but also fruits and floral notes that you can taste.
