Luis Joaquin — Nicaragua

Luis Joaquin’s farm is located high in the mountains of Nueva Segovia, where the beautiful sunrises and sunsets inspired the name, Bella Aurora. Incidentally, Aurora is also his mothers’ name. The farm was purchased by Luis’s father, Don Joaquin, in 1956, though he didn’t begin growing coffee there until 1991. Luis loved helping his father on the farm from a young age, and now takes great pride in running the farm as his father did before him, committed to the stewardship of the land.
