Description
The name Los Idolos comes from the park “El Alto de Los Idolos” named after the burial sites left behind by the ancient civilization known as San Agustin who flourished around 1,000 BCE before mysteriously disappearing 1,500 years ago.
The coffee growers in this region initially got together to share ideas and facilitate sales of there coffees. They are a quality focused group and are currently working on standardizing practices to improve their benefice processes as well as their drying patios.
This decaf coffee – Los Idolos – has medium to high acidity. It fills your mouth with a delightful caramel-like sweetness, with lots of orange and mandarin notes, toffee and caramel flavors, and a malty refreshing aftertaste.
