Grown on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, Mandheling coffee is known for its rich body and complex taste. The coffee is named after the population of North Sumatra - Mandailing.

Sumatra coffee is often described as having an intense, herb-flavored taste and enough acidity to give it vitality and vibration. Sumatra Mandheling coffee often has sweet tones of chocolate or licorice, obtained by dry processing of coffee beans that intensifies its aroma.

Sumatra Mandheling is a perfect coffee to enjoy in an espresso, as well as brewed, however it harmonizes very well with the taste of milk.
