This single origin comes from Bedhatu Jibicho, a female producer native to the Worka area in the Gedeb district of Southern Yirgacheffe.
Bedhatu has personally managed the 84-acre farm for over 50 years now without the use of chemical inputs. 84-acres is drastically larger that most farms in the area, and Bedhatu employs 20 year-round workers and another 130 seasonal workers for the harvest who are primarily women.
This coffee features a delicate balance of sweet citrus notes, syrupy body, and elegant perfume high notes. A layered experience with new flavors each sip. From peach to mango to blueberry to black tea — You get it all with this coffee. As the coffee cools you are left with a honey syrup and sweet basil finish leaving you wanting more.
