In our roastery, we use a gentle roasting process in order to achieve the really best taste from our coffee beans. We have made it our mission to take coffee to a new level. In order to do justice to this project, we founded the coffee roasting company C&R. The roast mainly determines whether the aroma of a coffee tastes mild and light or strong and dark. During roasting, the coffee beans are dry and heated under a certain atmospheric pressure. After going through several chemical and physical processes, the raw beans develop their specific flavors. The longer it is roasted, the better the quality. If the taste is rather sweet but slightly bitter, it is a dark roast. Lighter roasts taste a bit sour but less bitter. South American types of beans are rather soft, have little acidity, and, thanks to their wide range of flavors, offer something for all types of coffee lovers. As fair trade and organic traders, we pay attention to high quality.
