The single origin Malabar Monsoon coffee is the most famous Indian coffee specialty in the world, composed of selected natural Arabica, processed in the coastal region of Malabar, in southwestern India, and roasted in our artisan roasting.
Here the best beans of this variety undergo the monsooning process, that is, they are stored for months in special warehouses sheltered from the rains but exposed to the hot and humid winds of the monsoons, which cause the beans to swell and dry them at the same time. , completely transforming its sensory characteristics.
The result of this process is a single origin blend with an intense, persistent and decisive taste, with the typical notes of spices, malt and dried fruit. This coffee beans, prepared as an espresso, generates a very voluminous cream and a syrupy and consistent body. These sensory peculiarities, combined with the low acidity that characterizes it, make Malabar Monsoon artisan coffee very balanced in the cup, appreciated by connoisseurs who prefer intense and particular flavors.
