In 2002, Brad and Angie Barber wanted to fill a void in their small community of Clear Lake, Iowa. While the lake was a bustling tourist spot, its main street lacked a comfortable coffee shop where locals could grab a cup of coffee and visit with friends. By December, Cabin Coffee Company opened its doors for business.

A supportive community formed the foundation of Cabin Coffee back in 2002. Today, each location takes pride in being an active business in its own community. We encourage owners to partner with schools, churches, and other charitable organizations to provide fund-raising opportunities. We also invite requests for donations.
